Hi, I'm Stephany, some of you might know me as a successful entrepreneur and a lover of specialty Italian foods. I am, however, first and foremost a proud fur mum and also a second generation Canadian, born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. As a child and throughout my adolescence, I have had the privilege of spending many summers with my grandparents in their village hometown perched on a hilltop in Calabria, located at the southern tip of Italy. When I think back to the days spent in my grandparents kitchen, to the way meals were prepared -- in all simplicity and with whatever ingredients they had on hand, I wish I could teleport back. How was the thought of breakfast consisting of warm bread smothered in extra virgin olive oil so damn exciting?
